The Details:
From 7pm to 8:10, we'll start with Shabbos services. Services will be in Hebrew with non-amplified instruments, and we will provide prayerbooks that have both translation and transliteration (phonetic spelling). The entire service will be sung, with melodies drawn from Jewish as well as non-Jewish sources (Carlebach to Debbie Friedman to the Beatles to the tune you just made up).
From 8:15-9:15pm, we'll have a dairy/vegetarian potluck dinner! We'll provide the entrees and ask everyone to bring sides or drinks. If you are interested in coming for dinner, please email the Best Woman, Joanna Slusky ( joannas@gmail.com ).
From 9:30 on, we'll be having a talent show/ coffeehouse/ jam/ singalong. It is open to poets, dancers, actors, singers, writers, instrumentalists, and performers of all kinds. The performances should be anything you want-- not necessarily wedding-themed. Feel free to play a song about a bad breakup if you want! Even if you don't want to perform, you can bring the words to a favorite song and instruments for an open jam and singalong! If you are interested in taking one of the slots to perform, please email the Best Man ever, David Rosen ( schedule1@gmail.com ) with your name, what you'd like to perform, and what kind of piece it is.

Chill at the pool with us!
Russ and Marisa will be holding court at the pool at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (1717 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge, aka the hotel you're staying at if you're not at the Hampton Inn) from 2-5pm.
